The contract's scope of work entails the repair and maintenance of two primary sections: priority and safety repairs. Under the task order, priority repairs encompass a range of activities, such as the removal of the existing end diaphragm, the reinstallation of bent plates, the replacement of stringer anchorage, the installation of batten and vertical plates, the replacement of the bottom splice repair plate at PIER 3W, and the installation of floor plate support angles.

The scope of work for safety repairs includes, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of walkways, repairs to utility struts, the installation of raised-pattern floor plates, the removal of crevice corrosion, flange cleaning, and the installation of additional bolts, rail posts, and plates as required.

JPCL has been hired as a sub-consultant to provide professional engineering support services for this project. Our responsibilities encompass the structural inspection of the Hackensack River Bridge, preparing comprehensive inspection summary reports and final submittals, developing repair drawings, estimating repair operation costs, and reviewing plans with project managers and PATH representatives.
