This parking study focuses on the parking requirements for the additional apartment units in the existing commercial/apartment buildings located at 133 Grove Street, and 71-81 Walnut Street. The project sites are located in the busy commercial and residential district in the Township of Montclair, New Jersey.
JPCL Engineering was contracted to conduct an off-street parking inventory survey and analyses for parking lot justification. This included providing expert testimony
to the Township of Montclair Planning Board. The study approach comprised of the following: review of the Township of Montclair and other parking standards; analysis of existing parking facilities the additional parking required; and recommendations for parking improvement.
