Project Description:

The project consists of the platform rehabilitation and installation and upgrade of elevators at Penn and Moynihan stations. The scope of work also includes the rehabilitation of the maintenance facilities for ACELA, Amtrak’s flagship high speed service along the Northeast Corridor in the Northeastern United States between Washington, D.C. and Boston via 16 intermediate stops, including Providence, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and New York City. The updates will also accommodate Amtrak’s new trains being placed into service in 2021.

JPCL has been retained to provide special inspection and material testing services for concrete, rebar, masonry, soil, structural steel welding/bolting, and fireproofing.
