JPCL Engineering is actively seeking full-time Resident Engineers to oversee the construction process and staff for various upcoming projects.
Supervision of all construction within the project limits to ensure that the work conforms to the requirements of the Contract plans and specifications. • Provide construction management, supervision, and leadership for an inspection staff on infrastructure construction projects • Independently coordinating and directing all phases of construction inspection on complex heavy civil projects • Review and coordinate the daily work schedules and make changes as necessary. • Prepare and process all necessary payment documents and certify the quantities and prepare payment packages. • Ensure company policies and procedures are enforced and document any performance related activities such as outstanding achievements or disciplinary actions. • Monitors the implementation of the contractor’s safety program. • Ability to Issue Change orders, Field orders and Field memo in order to increase, decrease, or eliminate items due to field conditions or as a result of as-built calculations. • Frequently working with Project managers and city officials to notify all potential changes, estimated quantities adjustments, and construction schedule changes • Working closely with Construction Community Liaison (CCL) to establish an open communication with the effected community
• B.S. in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Construction Engineering & Management • 10+ years of relevant REI and construction management experience involved ininfrastructure projects. • Current New York PE License is required. • Prior experience as Resident Engineer managing heavy infrastructure projects • Proven excellent leadership skills.
